历史沿革[edit]
传说村民原先住在半山腰，一天山坡上闷热，山下却凉爽，于是迁到山下，村名叫「下凉」；「良」与「凉」同音，寓意更好，改称下良。[1]明末清初即1644年前后已有此称。[2]
1966年5月，下良生产大队从平潭公社划出，归马安公社管委会；1983年11月社改区，改为下良乡；1987年1月撤区设镇，改为下良管理区，后来成为下良村委会。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，下良村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
