历史沿革[edit]
村名来自明正德年间（1506年至1521年），据说此处耕地约三十六顷[1]。1912年曾称忠乐村；2004年与红卫村委会合并，仍用三十六顷村之名[1]。
地理环境[edit]
红卫岛即原大屿岛，是大鳌镇两个岛中的小岛，面积约3.6平方千米，岛上只有红卫一个村庄和一座小山丘，山上建有龙山亭[2][3]。
名胜古迹[edit]
岛上有一株树龄约300年、高30多米的红棉古树，每年春季开花时吸引游客；村里围绕它建设“红棉休闲岛”，发展红棉主题民宿和夜市美食街，红卫码头的夜市也是镇里的文旅项目[1][2][4]。
