村里水网通向西江下游，河涌交错，河水最深处约8米，“滘”字之名即由此而来[1]。
经济[edit]
村内以养殖南美白对虾和罗氏沼虾为主，采用“双循环”养殖系统[1]。镇里在村中建起水产养殖技术服务街，苗种、饲料、病害防治、加工销售的商铺都集中在一处，方便养殖户[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
百度百科称深滘村是革命老区村之一[1]。
人居环境[edit]
2016年，东风、东升、南沙、深滘四村被划入省级新农村连片示范区[3]。据百度百科，深滘村是“美丽乡村连片建设示范村”，以智慧网格管理推动环境整治；2025年有0.8999公顷集体农用地经省政府批准转作建设用地[1]。
