历史沿革[edit]
该地在20世纪50年代初归南雄县第七区管辖。60年代初为百顺公社下的大沙洲大队，1963年寨地、丰文和大沙洲三个大队合编为一个大队。其后历经革命委员会（1969年）、乡（1983年）、管理区（1988年）的变化，1998年12月改设村委会，名称沿用至今。[1]
名称由来[edit]
村址选在东坑河与百顺河交汇冲积而成的沙洲上，因此叫大沙洲。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年3月，该村被命名为2023年广东省卫生村。[1]
经济[edit]
村有耕地1447.7亩、林地2228亩，产业以水稻、花生、竹林和水电为主；村年集体收入8.3万元。[1]
