历史沿革[edit]
1958年为鹿村大队，1983年改设乡政府，1987年称村委会，1989年设管理区，1998年重设村委会，沿用至今。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
全村257户、1287人，水田402亩，合计耕地594亩；农民2008年人均年收入为3314元，当年有1116人加入合作医疗，覆盖率达96%。村民以种黄烟、辣椒和水稻为主要收入来源。村公路已硬化，但通往竹子塘村的路尚未修通和硬化。[1]（村情介绍未标年份，同文的人均收入为2008年数据）
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，鹿村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
