历史沿革[edit]
1958年为谭司大队，1983年改设乡政府，1987年称村委会，1989年设管理区，1998年重设村委会，沿用至今。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
全村10个村民小组，429户、2224人，农民2008年人均年收入3271元；耕地共965亩，人均约0.43亩。有一所初级小学和一间农村医疗站。传统作物是水稻、玉米、红薯和花生，养猪、养鸡；辣椒、黄瓜、红茄等外销蔬菜已有一定规模。[1]（村情介绍未标年份，同文的人均收入为2008年数据）
荣誉[edit]
2021年9月，谭司村以蔬菜入选广东省第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村；2019年9月，它在「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单中。[1]
