历史沿革[edit]
百度百科称村立于南宋庆元年间。[2]土改时为白湖小乡，1956年建立白湖高级农业合作社，人民公社化时定名白湖大队，1983年成为白湖乡。1987年1月撤乡改村，称白湖村委会，属小楼镇；2004年增江街道成立后改属增江街。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
全村辖6个自然村、9个经济合作社，总人口2920多人。[1][2]村里以蔬菜种植为特色，流转土地约1000亩建标准化生产基地，出产白湖迟菜心；村内有飞榕、百年古荔园、竹海长廊等景观。[2]
荣誉[edit]
白湖村在2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号，2022年10月被认定为「2022年广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」（蔬菜），2025年6月被认定为「2024年度广州市级美丽乡村」。[1]
