大岗村是金鸡镇的一个行政村，约在1615年前后建村，称大岗[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

大岗村约在1615年前后建村，名为大岗，属泷水县所辖。清代归罗定州五都金鸡乡，民国时隶属罗定县第六区，1950年起并入罗定县第二区。1958年仍为金鸡乡，1959年11月另立大岗大队，划入苹塘公社，1961年5月又转入金鸡公社。1983年改设乡，属金鸡区；1986年改为村委会，1989年一度称管理区，1998年复为村委会[2]。

文化[edit]

1993年，大岗村被评为革命老区[2]。大岗村于2022年1月被省级乡村振兴部门确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位[1]。
