白石镇隶属广东省云浮市云安区，地处区境西北部，西与郁南县河口镇相连，南与罗定市苹塘镇接壤，是三县（市）的交界地带。[1] 镇名的来历是镇驻地附近石山色白。[2] 2022年1月，该镇获命名为「2021年度广东省卫生城镇」。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

清同治年间，此处设立三岭堡。民国十五年（1926年）堡改为乡，其后先后有三岭乡、上马乡。1950年设上马乡与白石乡，1959年9月两乡并入镇安乡，同年10月组建震西人民公社，1961年3月再分出白石人民公社。[3]

1983年4月设立白石区，1986年10月改设白石镇。1996年1月云安设县时，本地划归云安县；2014年撤县设区后，改属云安区。[3]

地理环境[edit]

镇域位于石灰岩地带，属低海拔丘陵区，气候接近南亚热带季风类型。[1] 境内河流白石河属珠江流域西江水系，是罗定江的一级支流，河源在石城镇境内。其干流全长55公里，流域面积440平方公里，流经本镇的河段约12公里。[1]

东面与镇安镇相接，东北与高村镇为邻，北面连接宋桂。圩镇距云浮市区60公里，距肇庆120公里。[4]

已知矿藏有铜、铁、大理岩与石灰岩。[1]

人口民族[edit]

2021年全镇共8634户，居民合计33760人，皆为汉族。[1] 博雅地名网载有第七次全国人口普查的数字，白石镇为1.99万人，该数字公布于2021年6月。[2]

经济[edit]

粮食作物以水稻居多，此外种有花生、玉米、木薯、马铃薯与大豆。[1]

果品方面，西瓜、龙眼、荔枝等皆有种植，芒果、橙、柑桔、香蕉、柚与沙梨等也有出产。[1] 西瓜种植历史较久，产品已销往珠江三角洲等地。[4]

林副产品有松脂、茶叶与蜂蜜。[4]

交通方面，圩镇设汽车客运站，村委会均通硬底化道路，并有车辆直达深圳、珠海、广州、东莞、佛山等地。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

骆驼山石山群与海螺山石山群等石山已辟为观光点，喀斯特地貌是此地的特征之一。[1][4]

东圳村牛肚湾的赖氏宗祠和书房在2019年列入「第九批广东省文物保护单位」。[5]
