高村是高村镇的一个行政村。1958年设大队时，因大队部设在高村而定名高村大队。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年公社化后，此处为高村大队所在。撤社建区的1983年，改隶高村区公所，又改称高村乡政府。1986年起以镇辖村体制改为高村村委会，1989年一度改为管理区，至1999年才恢复高村村民委员会的名称。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，省农业农村厅公布首批专业村名单，本村以蚕桑入选。[1]

2024年4月，本村列入「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]
