大窝村位于南盛镇，2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村中邓姓以佰山公为始祖，他于1634年最先迁居此地。[1]

1952年划为乡，隶云浮四区；1954年设高级社。1958年起设大窝生产大队，归幸福公社；1961年归南盛公社，1966年起属朝阳公社。1983年称大窝乡，由朝阳区公所管辖；1986年起隶南盛镇，1989年转为管理区，1999年改设村委会，至今隶南盛镇。[1]
