1991年，和平管区办起“凉果城”，粤东一带的凉果货物多在此集散。[2]

2019年9月，和平村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初年这里称平在乡，其后为平在大队；文革期间改为平在革委会，1984年后设乡政府，1993年建和平管区，1999年成为村委会。[1]
