福田村是高埔镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的东北部，北面与梅林镇相邻，梅林至葵坑的公路穿村而过。[1]

沿革[edit]

新中国成立前，这一带属惠来县，此后划归普宁县。村子在1958年公社化时归入邻近的大队，1964年才单独建队。1983年归属福田乡，1986年建立村委会；1990年改为管理区，1999年重新称村委会，名称延续到今天。[1]

自然与产业[edit]

村下辖福口、田背、上坝3个自然村。农业以水稻和甘薯为主，水果以青梅、橄榄、油甘、菠萝为多，村内山林资源丰富。[1]
