南山村位于靖海镇最西面，距镇区约8.5公里。村南面全是石山，村名由此而来。[1]

地名与历史[edit]

村子南面都是石山，因此称南山。[1]

明初已有村落。之后林姓一支迁来定居，村落逐渐繁衍。1949年后，石塔村与南山村合为一村，此后先设大队，再并入一个乡，1987年改设南山管区；到1999年管理区撤销，南山村委会由此设立。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

地形为半沙丘陵，村辖的自然村有南山、虎邦山、石塔三处。耕地约560亩，内含水田224亩与旱园336亩；林地762亩。[1]

荣誉[edit]
