西头社区是榕华街道下辖的社区，位于街道西南部，处在榕华大道中段。1992年成立西头居委会。[1]

辖区概况[edit]

社区占地面积32000平方米，有农业人口753人、198户，据博雅地名网所载，未注明统计年份。[1]

1994年，社区统一进行旧村居改建，兴建五层居民住宅楼十幢，一层设为铺面，形成小商品市场榕江商都，经营鞋类、服装和钟表等商品。[1]

社区另设西头综合市场，铺位约210户，主要经营肉类、蔬菜、水果和副食品。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，西头社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；广东省爱卫会在2023年5月将「2022年广东省卫生村」称号授予该社区。[1]
