溪头村是铁铺镇下辖的片村，含溪头、马头、许南美3个自然村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村落位于镇政府驻地南面4.7千米，原潮安县城庵埠东北17.4千米，韩江北溪在村西流过，东南与澄海莲华镇接壤。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明末，福建莆田陈氏迁来定居。村名“溪头”的由来，是韩江北溪在此流入南海。[1]

1987年设立溪头村委会，1989年改设溪头管理区，1999年恢复村委会名称。[1]

人口民族[edit]

人口2616人（未注统计年份）。[1]

经济[edit]

农业以水稻、甘薯、甘蔗为主，是镇内的水稻高产区；工副业以抽纱、机绣为主，人均年收入1673元（未注统计年份）。[1]
