村里的资料称，全村1346人，以种植水稻为主，交通较闭塞，村集体收入靠每年5000元的鱼塘承包费。溪头村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2019年9月公布）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1941年属曲江县水尾村；1949年后隶属梅村公社，1955年划归犁市区，1957年为犁市乡，1986年属梅村乡，2004年划入浈江区犁市镇。[1]
