关塘村在南朗街道的西北一隅，东侧与大车村毗连，南侧是白企村；2001年11月，它由关塘、东桠、贝外三个村委会合并而成[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

周姓族人自新会迁来，于明弘治元年（1488年）立村[1]。

1910年设乡，编入第四区；1967年分出设关塘大队，归南朗公社管辖[1]。

2001年11月，东桠与贝外并入关塘，合组关塘村委会，此后下设6个村民小组[1][2]。另有资料记作2002年东桠、贝外两村委会并入，与此不一致[1]。

截至2010年底，全村共有729户，农业户口501户、非农业户口217户；人口合计2021人[1]。
