历史沿革[edit]
1950年，田增与西塘两地同设西塘乡；此后先后办起初级社（1953年）和高级社（1955年），1958年田增自成一个大队。此后：1983年管理区，1986年村委会，1989年又为管理区，1999年起称田增村民委员会。[1]
文化[edit]
2019年9月，田增村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」；2021年1月入选「湛江市2020年度全市先进文明村」和「全市文明村」；2023年11月入选「广东百千万工程首批典型县镇村」；2024年4月入选「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]
