光明村是广东省清远市英德市石灰铺镇下辖的行政村，位于镇东面英含公路旁，村委会距镇政府约7公里。[1]

村委会距英德市区也约7公里，是石灰铺距市区最近的村。[1]

村名取新中国成立后“人民迎来了光明”之意。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国三年此地称“头甲”。1949年设光明乡，1958年改为光明大队。1983年与美光合并，同设美光乡政府；1986年分开后另设光明村委会，1990年为管理区，1998年10月7日恢复村委会建制。[1]

荣誉与建设[edit]

2019年9月，光明村入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]

英州红茶业公司与光明等村的脱贫户开展合作。[2]

2025年，光明村列为拟培育的典型村之一。[3]
