太平村是广东省清远市英德市九龙镇下辖的行政村，位于镇东南部，距圩镇约20公里，是全镇区域面积最大的村，地处山区，四面环山。村名取自驻地附近的太平河。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村内山林面积约3万亩，笋竹约8000亩，耕地面积2115亩，多为洞田。土质较深，宜竹木生长，是镇里主要的笋竹生产基地。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初期此地为乡；1958年设太平大队；1983年转为太平乡；1986年起称太平村委会；1990年成为太平管理区；1998年10月7日重新设立村委会，延续至今。[1]

经济[edit]

水稻和玉米是传统作物，花生、黄豆也有种植；村民还靠木材经营增收，并利用山地发展笋竹。2026年，驻镇帮镇扶村工作队在太平村组织技术人员对新种植的木薯田进行首次巡查。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

太平村在2019年12月列入第二批「国家森林乡村」名单；同年9月，它又被列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。太平村于2021年12月获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉。陈屋村于2023年5月获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
