塘坑村是广东省清远市英德市九龙镇下辖的行政村，位于镇中部，距圩镇约1.5公里。村名来自村委会驻地附近的一处山坑，坑中低洼处积成水塘。全村辖20个村民小组、21个自然村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村委会驻地附近有一条山坑，坑内低洼地形成了一片水塘，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

二十世纪五十年代，这里是塘坑联社。1958年建塘坑大队，1962年并入坪迳大队，1977年又析出复设塘坑大队。1983年成为塘坑乡，1986年变为塘坑村委会，1990年为塘坑管理区，1998年10月7日再度以村委会形式设置。[1]

地理环境[edit]

全村北部是石灰岩山，东南部有较高的丘陵，中部地势平坦。九龙至沙坝的公路横穿村子，交通较为便利。[1]

经济[edit]

村民以种植水稻、玉米为主，兼种蔬菜、瓜果和番薯等作物，并按市场需要种植反季节蔬菜，形成一定规模。耕地面积3371亩。[1]

荣誉[edit]

塘坑村在2017年9月入选住房和城乡建设部公布的「2017年改善农村人居环境示范村」，属美丽乡村示范村。坳仔塘村与成屋村于2023年5月获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。2026年1月，塘坑村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
