金鸡村是广东省清远市英德市九龙镇下辖的行政村，位于镇东部，是全镇较大的村委会之一。村名来自村委会驻地的一座山，山形远看如雄鸡展翅。全村有30个自然村，省道348线穿村而过。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村域地势北高南低，耕地多为梯田，其中不少是“浅脚田”，土地肥力好，可种水稻、蔬菜与水果。耕地总面积3016.6亩。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1951年此地设金鸡乡，1958年改称金鸡大队，1983年转为金鸡乡政府。1986年起称金鸡村委会，1990年成为金鸡管理区，1998年10月7日重新设立村委会，延续至今。[1]

人口民族[edit]

全村总人口4630人，年份未注明。[1]

经济[edit]

近年村党支部和村委会带领村民率先在全镇调整作物布局，发展“三高”农业，大面积种植砂糖橘等水果，成效显著。[2]

文化[edit]

金鸡村在2020年8月入选首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，所属产品为九龙豆腐，名单由广东省农业农村厅公布。[1]

荣誉[edit]

江屋村与丘围屋村于2023年5月获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
