高桥村是广东省清远市英德市沙口镇下辖的行政村。它位于镇的西北一带，东侧靠山，西侧挨着北江，平面狭长，村落沿南北方向排开。[2] 村名的由来：旧时此地多桥，其中一座以麻石砌成，又高又大，故名高桥。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

解放后这里曾称高桥乡，1958年一度称风田大队，1965年再次称高桥大队。1983年又设高桥乡政府；1986年起称村委会，1990年一度为管理区；1998年10月7日定名为高桥村委会。[1]

概况[edit]

村内设9个村小组，耕地1045亩。种植业是基础产业，以水稻、花生、粉蕉为主；村子靠近北江，常受洪水影响，农业生产时有损失。[2]
