金鸡村属连南瑶族自治县（广东省清远市）寨岗镇，位于镇政府西南部，离镇政府约6公里，离县城约42公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

旧时此地属阳山。1940年为金鸡甲，归寨岗乡第五保；新中国成立初为十二村，仍归寨岗乡；1950年4月设金鸡小乡，隶寨岗大乡；1952年改设金鸡乡，归第五区。[1]

1953年起划归连南，称金鸡乡，归第四区；1961年设生产大队，隶寨岗公社；1983年改为乡，1986年变成村，1988年定为管理区，1999年撤区设村，金鸡村民委员会也于此时设立。[1]

2019年9月，村子列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

经济[edit]

2026年，金鸡村启动典型村培育建设，计划当年10月底前完成验收。[2]

金鸡村与山联村共同发展瑶药，仿野生石斛约有5000余株，年产值约2000万元。[3]

2009年统计：14个村民小组，693户，2833人，辖区4.4平方公里，耕地1268亩，以种植业为主。[1]
