岗头村位于岭背镇南面，距镇圩约8公里，下辖16个村民小组，由镇到村车程约20分钟。村里有板栗种植示范基地，基地内套种了西瓜。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

2013年底，全村790户、3598人，劳动力1520人。耕地约3781亩：水田2469亩，旱地1312亩。2014年村集体经济收入约0.97万元，农民年人均收入6154元。[1]

板栗与林下种植[edit]

2023年3月，村里的板栗种植示范基地种下500亩板栗。树行之间套种了200多亩西瓜，单亩产量可达6000斤，白露前后最后一批西瓜上市。基地还聘请周边10多名村民常年做事，采摘季还雇用了大量临时工。[2]
