太平村是广东省清远市阳山县太平镇下辖的行政村，村委会设在镇中心的圩镇，耕地连片平坦，是太平镇的粮食主产区之一。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名“太平”据旧志所载，相传因本地虽处丘陵，地势却较为平坦而得名。[1]

村的建制经历了1940年设保、1952年改设乡政府、1958年改为生产大队、1983年复设乡政府、1987年改为村委会、1989年改为管理区，1999年再改回村委会。[1] 2005年4月，三和村委会被撤销，其辖区并入太平村委会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]
