太平镇是广东省清远市阳山县下辖的乡镇，位于县境南部，距县城约30千米，辖12个行政村。[1][4][6] 全镇属石灰岩山区，是传统农业大镇，出产太平鱼、丝苗米等特产。[4] 镇内有牛鼻岩冶铁遗址，又有被称为岭南第一溶洞群的牛鼻岩。[4][5]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，此地旧称莲塘圩。明嘉靖元年（1522年）地壳下沉，居民迁至新址，遂取名太平，以求平安吉祥。[1] 该网站的历史沿革称，1914年至1954年间此地属阳山县第八区；其基本介绍则说民国时称太平乡，属第三区。两种说法未能互相核实，此处不取。[1][2]

1955年8月，第八区政府另设太平区，1957年12月撤区设太平乡。[2] 1958年改设太平人民公社。同年11月阳山县建制被撤销，太平隶属七拱人民公社；1960年县建制恢复后，又改设太平人民公社。[2] 1968年公社设立革命委员会；1980年革命委员会撤销，公社改设管理委员会。1983年11月，公社改为太平区，1986年11月区改为镇。[2] 博雅地名网基本介绍中的建镇年份作1987年，与历史沿革所载相差一年，以历史沿革为准。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

太平镇位于阳山县南部，其东侧邻接七拱镇与清新区石潭镇，南侧与杨梅镇相连，西侧一带与怀集、连南两县交界。[4] 镇境气候温和湿润，日照充足，雨热同季，属季风气候。[4] 北江水系连江支流七拱河在境内发源，省道S260线贯穿全镇。[4] 镇境面积，县年鉴据县自然资源局数据作273平方千米；博雅地名网作约165平方公里，两数未能核实。[1][4]

人口民族[edit]

年鉴的2019年基本情况表载，全镇户籍户数10257户，户籍人口44417人，其中非农业人口1006人，村民小组299个。[4] 博雅地名网另载人口约2.49万人，未注明年份，与前者相差甚大，未能核实。[1]

经济[edit]

据《阳山年鉴·2020》，2019年全镇生产总值为39841.9万元，较上年增长3.88%；其中绝大部分是农业产值，工业产值只有91万元。农民人均纯收入17856元，比2018年增加1969元。[4] 名优特产有柑橘、兰花、荷兰豆、菜心、阳山鸡等。[4]

镇内水电站有七星桥水电站、七星桥二级电站和黄沙电站。2019年底，一座投资2.1亿元的50兆瓦农业光伏项目部分投产并网。[4] 全镇设有“百千万工程”办公室，统筹镇村建设和产业发展。[3]

2024年5月，全镇12个行政村共同组建阳山县绿芽农业投资有限公司，统筹农产品销售、土地流转和务工就业，并在广州设置生态农产品专区。[8] 另一方面，沙陂村、田庄村、围龙村等沿G358国道的约2000亩土地被整合起来，推行“稻+稻+菜”轮作，引进冬种菜心项目。[8][9]

太平镇获评「2023年广东省卫生乡镇」，命名时间为2024年3月。[1] 镇级“平安法治”建设中，沙陂村于2015年由司法部、民政部表彰为第六批全国民主法治示范村，是阳山县当批唯一获此称号的村。[10]

名胜古迹[edit]

牛鼻岩冶铁遗址位于牛鼻岩村，距镇政府约12千米。据百度百科，遗址发现于1984年，占地约1500平方米。遗址内尚见两段水渠残迹，以及七处碓房与十八处炉渣堆积，附近分布大量铁矿石。[5] 北宋开宝五年（972年），官府在此设立牛鼻铁务。据称到明洪武七年（1374年），阳山的冶铁所已是广东仅有的一处铁冶机构；现存的更楼与碑记系乾隆三十三年（1768年）所修，今仍在。[5] 2012年，遗址被阳山县人民政府公布为县级不可移动文物。[5]

据《阳山年鉴·2020》，岭南第一溶洞群牛鼻岩位于镇境内，距县城38.6千米，周边森林保存较好，景区内有溶洞群和若干古村落。年鉴还称，镇里曾举办古村落摄影文化节，推介太平的古村落。[4]

著名人物[edit]

叶银河（1929年—1970年）是阳山县太平镇龙塘村万生堂村人。1949年7月编入中国人民解放军，1952年转业后到七拱区龙脊小学当教师。1953年起，他先在阳山电影队和韶关专区的电影机动队做放映员；1955年以后又在阳山县电影队及电影管理站任放映员、队长、副站长。[7] 百度百科称其为阳山籍烈士。[7]
