东联村在石潭镇东南部，离石潭圩约3.5公里，村域面积约12平方千米。村名的来历是分设时与西安隔着一条河。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年设乡；1954年办农业社，分为南窗、山根、围坑、车树岗四社；1956年10月并为东联；1961年分设广星、群星、旗星、南星四个大队，1962年10月又合为东联大队。[1]

1984年改设乡，1989年设管理区，1998年改为村委会。[1]

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予东联村「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[1]

地理环境[edit]

全村共19个村民小组，博雅地名网记为928户、4177人（年份未注明）。[1]

耕地面积2845亩，旱地790亩，水田2055亩，鱼塘406亩；林地10852亩，商品林5401亩，生态林5451亩。境内矿产以铝矾土为主。[1]

村子与中和、东安、中所、街道社区、北安、雷坑、南安、西安、蒲坑、南楼、联滘、联合、石湖、白湾村等相邻。[1]

东联村是石潭镇列入「百千万工程」培育的典型村之一，2026年初的村庄清洁行动覆盖了该村全部村组。[2]
