平岗村位于龙颈镇西部。驻地设在一处平坦而开阔的山岗顶，村名由此而来[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

平岗先设乡（1953年），1958年成立平岗大队，1983年又为乡级建制，1986年改为平岗村委会。2004年5月南冲镇撤销后本村归龙颈镇；同年10月，平岗与军坑两村委会合并，成为现在的平岗村委会[1]。
