石桥村是上洋镇的一个行政村。1949年曾设石桥村，此后改称乡、管理区等，1999年村委会恢复，此名沿用至今。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年属阳江县第七区，并设石桥村；1953年属第十六区，设石桥乡；1956年归上洋区，仍设石桥乡。1958年5月隶上洋乡；同年11月并入大跃进人民公社，12月改属儒洞人民公社。[2]

1959年改隶上洋人民公社，石桥生产大队随之设立；1967年，此处改作石桥革命委员会，1980年改为生产大队管委会；1983年复设石桥乡，属上洋区；1987年村委会组建，归上洋镇；1988年阳西分县后属阳西县上洋镇；1989年为管理区；1999年村委会恢复。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2026年3月，石桥村被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。辖内七星岗村于2021年度获评阳江市卫生村；鸡罩坡村与石碇坡村于2023年度获评同一称号。[1]
