坦塘村是广东省江门市台山市都斛镇下辖的行政村，在镇域东北部的北峰山脚下：西、北两面是山，东邻金星村，南接园美村。村委会设在坦塘村，离都斛圩约6千米，西部沿海高速公路和省道麻阳线从村界经过。[1][2]

这一带在抗日战争时期属革命老区。全村有11个自然村，按镇政府2026年的资料共606户、2591人。[2]

经过村界的公路是水泥铺筑的省二级公路，车辆往来方便。[2]
