白石村是上洋镇的一个行政村，城乡分类属镇乡结合区，1999年9月复设白石村委会。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年，白石一带分属阳江县第七区和第十六区的上洋乡；1956年归上洋区，1958年5月仍是上洋乡辖地。同年11月设白石管理区，12月转入儒洞人民公社。[2]

1959年10月划回上洋人民公社，并设白石生产大队；1983年设白石乡，隶上洋区；1987年2月改组为村委会，归上洋镇；1988年阳西分县后属阳西县上洋镇；1989年又改为管理区；1999年9月村委会复设。[2]

荣誉[edit]

白石村曾被确定为广东省乡村治理示范村创建单位（2021年度，博雅地名网所载确定时间为2022年1月）。2026年1月，白石村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村称号。[1]
