马山村属阳西县塘口镇，是镇内的行政村之一。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年11月，马山行政村建立，隶属阳江县六区。1953年改属六区，设马山乡；1956年归塘口区，1958年5月入塘口乡，同年12月划入大跃进人民公社。1959年组成马山生产大队，同年10月划入塘口人民公社。[2]

1967年成为马山革命委员会，1980年又改为生产大队管委会，1983年改称马山乡，1986年设马山村委会，1988年归阳西县塘口镇。1989年9月改为管理区，1999年又设村委会。[2]

2021年12月，马山村委会下的马山村、凤头计村、福建村入选「2021年度阳江市卫生村」；2019年12月，马山村入选第二批国家森林乡村名单。[1]
