马山村是珠海市斗门区乾务镇的行政村，明景泰年间立村，百度百科称它是珠海规模最大的行政村，居民多姓张、林、陈。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村最早叫永安里，后改称珠玑乡；1931年因村后山丘形似马，称“马髻山”；1941年珠玑、丛光、东昇三乡并为一乡，合称马山。[1]立村在明景泰年间；建国初期隶中山县第八区三山乡，其后历经马山大队（1965年起隶斗门县乾务公社）、马山乡（1984年，隶五山区公所）、马山村委会（1986年，隶五山镇），2002年划入新建的乾务镇。[1]

人口民族[edit]

百度百科所记：全村面积23.8平方千米，海岸线7.5公里，户籍人口七千多、约2200户；张姓约占六成，另有林、陈两姓，话是四邑话。最早来建村的是从台山迁入的张姓，林、陈两姓是清代才迁来的。[2]

经济[edit]

马山过去以种水稻为主，后来轮种甘蔗，2013年转向水产养殖，建成上万亩的青蟹养殖基地，同时保留种番薯的传统。[2]

文化[edit]

博雅地名网写道，村内古祠堂共七座，创基张公祠曾是抗日战争中「马山战斗」发生的地点，属斗门区不可移动文物；又说村里装泥鱼的习俗已进入国家级非遗名录。[1]
