明末清初年间，有群众陆续从信宜市水库一带迁来定居。1951年设那六乡，1959年划入新洲公社，1987年撤乡为管理区，1999年改设村委会[1]。

2019年9月，该村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
