五星社区位于彭寨镇境内，属镇乡结合区，与大塘面社区、马塘村、土厘村相邻。名称取自五星红旗上「五星」二字。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

20世纪50年代至70年代，此处属彭中大队；80年代后改为五星村，由原先三村六村的12个姓氏合成。2002年设立为社区居民委员会。[2]
