半坑村是广东省河源市和平县大坝镇下辖的行政村，村名与它离大坝街的路程和地势有关。[1]

2021年12月，村子被广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号，村内出产香菇等特产。[3][4]

地名由来[edit]

据记载，从大坝街分路至本村约5.5千米，两侧都是丘陵，中间有河，村名半坑由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年解放后，此地与其他村子一样属大成乡。1958年设半坑大队，属人民公社。1988年称半坑管理区，1999年设立半坑村村民委员会。[2]

荣誉与特产[edit]

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予村子「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[3]

香菇是村中的特产之一。[4]
