新中国成立初设半坑乡，1958年设大队，1983年设乡政府，1986年设村委会，1989年称管理区，1998年复称村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，半坑村名列「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2018年度）。[1]
