大坝镇是广东省河源市和平县所辖的镇，位于县境东北部，毗邻和平县城，是和平县的革命老区镇。以东为优胜镇，以南与阳明镇相依，西面连接热水与浰源两镇，北面与上陵镇相靠。镇域面积为175.37平方千米，镇内设15个行政村，另有1个街镇居委会。^[1]^[2]

镇内有农业特产、矿产和温泉资源。1957年设大坝乡，1987年改设为大坝镇。^[1]^[3]

历史沿革[edit]

大坝地名旧称大利坝。民国时期这一带称大坝，分属大同、大成两乡管辖。^[3]

1957年先设大坝乡。1960年，原东山人民公社被拆分，形成东山、大坝、合水、城镇、桃源五个公社，大坝由此成为公社；同年冬，桃源改名上陵，东山则于1961年改称附城。1987年，大坝公社改为镇。^[3]

大坝镇位于和平县东北部，镇域面积175.37平方千米。^[1]^[2]

沿国道358线一带的汤湖、鹅塘、上镇和合水四村都有温泉资源。^[1]

经济[edit]

香菇、木耳、竹笋和碰柑是镇内的农产特色，半坑、老镇、石井、石谷、坪溪、超田等村较为常见。^[1]

地下矿产有高岭土（瓷土）、稀土和铁矿。高发、石陂、金星、上镇、汤湖、合水、龙狮七村都有矿藏，其中龙狮村的高岭土最为集中。^[1]

汤湖村的荣佳国韵度假村，此前称天上人间温泉度假村，是镇内的温泉度假区，由深圳旭生实业集团有限公司经营，占地约9.2万平方米，温泉区约5000平方米，露天温泉泡池38个。^[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

杨村坳遗址在岭下村背后的山岗上，又名石林坪，1983年发现，属周代遗存，分为两期，出土陶器、原始瓷器和青铜斧、镞等。^[5]^[6]

嘉禾岗围龙屋在高发村，是清代黄姓人建造的客家围龙屋，坐北朝南，平面呈马蹄形，有三堂四横一围，房屋上百间。它又被称为「外翰第」。该围龙屋于2011年公布为河源市文物保护单位。^[5]

「中共和平县大坝区委旧址」位于高发村的大坝中心小学内。中共和平县工作委员会建立于1939年春，曾源受派在大坝一带开展建党工作。1941年8月，经中共和平县委批准，大坝区委成立，黄华明任书记；这所学校也曾是县委机关的驻地。2012年1月，旧址被列入和平县不可移动文物保护名录。^[5]

著名人物[edit]

曾源（1917年5月－2008年4月），原名曾镜湖，和平县大坝人。他在1938年10月于中山大学入党，曾任中共和平县委书记，在东江纵队先后任护航大队、第六、第七、第三支队政委，并率部挺进九连山创建根据地。建国后，他在顺德县任县委第一书记，之后调任粤西军区政治部主任，又任中共湛江市委第二书记，后任茂名市委书记、市长。^[4]^[5]

黄华明（1920年1月－1997年1月），原名黄道冠。1940年2月入党。1942年春至1944年夏，他任中共大坝区委书记，并以教师身份在学校组织抗日救亡宣传，动员民众抗税抗捐。^[5]
