石马村属三角镇，城乡分类为村庄。村名来自石马龙段的水田：田中间突起一块石头，状如马，于是称作石马。2023年5月，该村被认定为「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年时，石马属三角乡公所。1958年划入大湖公社，成为石马大队；1987年设大湖镇石马管理区。1995年10月，三角与大湖分镇，石马随之归入三角；1999年才设立石马村民委员会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

广东省农业农村厅在2021年9月公布第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，石马村名列其中，主打小番茄。[1]
