高村是连平县高莞镇的一个行政村。相传最早定居于此的是高姓先民，后来高姓人家迁走，村名保留下来。清代武术家刘凤楷出生于本村大蓝屋。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

建国后先归丁村乡。1962年从丁村大队中析出，1967年设高村大队革命委员会。此后1983年设乡，后又改成管理区办事处，1999年才成为村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，高村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

高村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号，由广东省爱卫会于2023年5月批定。[1]
