官天岭村在车田镇境内，村名出于一段传说。相传宋代中期，彭姓族人自梅县迁来，村后山岭下有一条通往江西的道路，岭上的屋子常有官员下马歇脚，因而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年设为大队，1983年改设乡，1986年转为村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年重新设立村委会。[1]

荣誉与产业[edit]

2019年9月，官天岭村被列为2018年度广东省民主法治示范村创建单位。[1] 据博雅地名网，该村于2026年3月入选广东省“百千万工程”第三批典型村镇。[1]

2026年的镇工作计划提出推动官天岭酒厂项目建成投产，并安排官天岭水稻烘干场的建设。[2] 2025年的计划还提出，为官天岭村典型村培育提升基础设施。[3]
