地名由来[edit]

此地早先称船坑，到1953年设小乡时才更名为新淳。[1]

建制沿革[edit]

1949年时属船坑村。1958年这里设大队并用新淳之名，1984年建立乡政府，1986年转为村委会，1989年成为管理区，1999年又设村委会，延续至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，本村名列2018年度广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位之中。[1] 广东省爱卫会于2023年5月认定新淳村为2022年广东省卫生村。[1]
