新街村是广东省河源市龙川县登云镇下辖的行政村，属镇乡结合区，位于镇区范围之内，村名来自旧时新开的圩市。[1][3]梅州至河源的高速公路在村内设有互通口，与205国道相接。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

新街先是登云乡的一部分，1951年如此；1957年归登云管理区，1958年改隶登云大队。1978年成为新街大队，1983年当时的乡镇府就设在此地。1987年设村委会，1989年又称新街管理区，直至1999年恢复村委会建制，延续至今。[2]

地名由来[edit]

旧时赶圩的地点设在天阳，因黄、叶两姓不和，群众不再去天阳赶圩，转而在此另开圩市，店铺新设，故称新街。[3]

镇区与交通[edit]

按照2026年公告的国土空间总体规划，镇区范围涉及新街村和高南村两个行政村，镇区建设空间约2.69平方千米。[5]

荣誉[edit]

2021年4月，新街村获评2020年度龙川县文明村镇。[1]
