神冲村在东海街道东南，南北方向正对陆丰市政府，距市政府约500米，东西两面到东河，324国道穿村而过，面积约1.71平方千米[1]。村内有前村、后村、郑厝、龚厝4个村民小组，户籍人口5027人[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网称，明朝中期神冲村的先祖从福建迁来立村。1952年设第一区（军潭区）砂涌乡，1959年改砂冲大队并划归东海镇，1980年改称神冲大队，1983年为神冲农管区，1987年改村委会，1994年为神冲管理区，1999年复称村委会[2]。

设施与经济[edit]

村委会内设志愿者服务站、退役军人服务站和党群服务大厅，村内有神冲小学、前村公园和龚厝文化中心[1]。经济收入主要靠萝卜干、蔬菜、水稻等农副产品[2]。
