乌坎村是东海街道南部的沿海渔村，历史悠久，土地面积3.14平方千米，毗邻陆丰市行政中心和汕汕铁路陆丰南站，坐拥乌坎港[1]。户籍人口14537人，其中老年人（60岁以上）2000多人，青壮劳力约5000多人，在外流动者4000多人[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网记载，明末清初柳、张两姓先祖到此立村，后有以水为业的渔民陆续迁入[3]。清乾隆年间在此设过粤海关惠州府乌坎分关，驻址在妈祖宫东侧，今称“关部”；乌坎港后来成为粤海关七总口之一[3][5]。乌坎乡设于1949年，1952年10月划为第十四区（乌坎区）；1956年军潭、乌坎二区撤销，并成炎龙、河东、两城三个大乡；1959年实行人民公社，设乌坎公社，1978年设乌坎生产大队[3]。

经济与建设[edit]

村民以海洋捕捞和养殖为主业，百度百科称村有渔船110余艘，集体经济靠土地入股、厂房出租等方式取得收入[4]。政府网站介绍，村正借乡村振兴示范带建设之机，修建了文旅驿站和避风港公园，并规划对古村“微更新”，建滨海景观路、美食街、海产品市场和渔文化博物馆[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2009年1月，乌坎村列入第二届全国文明村镇名单；2024年4月，列入广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村创建名单[3]。
