崎砂村在东海街道西南部，距街道办事处7公里，往南到乌坎港只有3里路，北邻白箖村，东以东河为界，西接东海大道，总面积9.8平方千米[1]。有崎砂、古围2个自然村、3个村民小组，户籍人口3186人[1]。

历史与经济[edit]

博雅地名网称，村在初级社、高级社时期归沙冲乡府管辖，1968年划入乌坎大队，1970年从乌坎大队分出，成立崎砂大队，后来设管理区，到1999年成为村委会[2]。该网站的概况页说，村处沙陵地带，耕地约750亩（水田和旱田各350亩，另有咸酸田50亩），以种蔬菜为主，兼种水稻并养鱼；该页记自然村3个、348户近3000人，与政府网站的“2个”不同[3]。2020年12月，村获评「广东省卫生村」（2020年度）[2]。
