深埔村在东海街道西南部，离街道办事处5公里、离市政府2公里，北面是龙光村，南面是埔陈村，西面是螺河，东面隔省道338线是白箖村[1]。村有深草洋、下陈2个自然村、3个村民小组，户籍人口4479人，常住4474人[1]。

经济[edit]

下陈村以特制咸菜和菜脯（萝卜干）出名；深草洋村的村民多靠养殖和捕鱼虾蟹维生[1]。

历史沿革与荣誉[edit]

博雅地名网称，土地改革时期，深草洋、下陈、埔陈、外龙四村合并成立深埔大队[2]。2020年12月，村获评「广东省卫生村」（2020年度）；2026年1月，被评为广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村[2]。
