长辉社区在陆丰新行政区一带，陆丰市政府即在其附近，距东海街道办事处约5公里，东面是城东街道炎苍埔村，北面是神冲村，西面是龙光村，南面是白箖村，面积1.6平方千米，下辖1个自然村，户籍人口1172人[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

社区原是神冲村委会下的长坣头村民小组，2008年5月划出，改设长辉社区居民委员会[2]。

设施与荣誉[edit]

长辉党群服务中心2018年12月建成启用，占地300平方米，设有办事大厅、党员活动室、综合文化服务中心和民兵之家[1]。2020年12月，社区获评「广东省卫生村」（2020年度），并入选广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单（2020年度）[2]。
